We are pleased to announce something new! One of the companies we do a substantial amount of investment business with, now has a federally regulated bank and trust company, which will be offering trust services to our clients.
What makes this trust company different from the typical trust company or bank?
This trust company is offering unbundled trust services. Which means you can appoint us as your investment advisor, while the trustee assumes responsibility for all of the non-investment related administration of the trust and the safe keeping of the trust assets.
As your investment advisor, we will act as the investment fiduciary and we will be responsible for the development and implementation of the trust investment plan. This means lower fees for the trustee services and no additional fees to have us manage your investments.
The trust company will also accept appointment as successor trustee with no fees involved, until they take over as trustee.
This is a truly innovative approach and will allow us to compete very effectively with impersonal bank and trust companies.
