Invest Gobally

I just received this quiz from one of my global managers and thought you might find it interesting! I have long recommended global diversification to all my clients, however, I know that sometimes people may be hesitant to invest internationally because they may feel they aren't familiar enough with foreign companies. Unfortunately, in doing so, they may miss out on some excellent opportunities that may help them reach their investment goals.

To illustrate this point, look at the companies listed below. These companies' products may seem as American as apple pie, but only one company on the list is based in the U.S.* Can you guess which one? I think the answer may surprise you.

Foreign Domestic

Gerber

Pillsbury

Twentieth Century Fox

New York Post

Alka-Seltzer

Burger King

Lo Choy Foodservice

Green Giant

Bayer

TV Guide

7-Eleven

Los Angeles Dodgers
